The flying period cd has to do anything with
aion classic kinah you pressing distance to premature back and the wings are available for 0.01 seconds but you even saw them. It did happen to me a few times but dont give it the match the error when its you.
Finest PvP experience in any MMO I've played to date. BnS is a close second, but it's a different fashion, and intensely p2w. The reason I feel the PvP in Aion trumps BnS (that is mechanically far superior) is due to the purpose behind PvP.
-Aion is a game you don't need to drive yourself to RP in. I've never felt so much patriotism for my faction, and so much hatred for the enemy at any other match. The game hardly feels like a game. It's more of a simulator. You play it understanding the odds are stacked against you. It is a war, and warfare is unjust. The classes have equilibrium certain, but it is never an even playing field. Someone always has a gear advantage or participant benefit, and it feels so good to come out on top when the odds are stacked against you.
-The PvP point system (Abyss Points) is well thought out, and it compels the participant to consider risk/reward. The higher your position, the less things you get from murdering low positions, and the more points they get for killing you. You receive bonuses for being a high position though like transformations, and accessibility to better equipment. PvP has so much purpose, there's always a motive to kill the enemy.
-Crafting in this game is really simple, but I have as much fun with it. The proc system gives you that little chance of endorphins every time it goes off. It's easy to understand what's valuable, and it enriches the PvP encounter by pushing you from the shit.
-Community is inherently poisonous because of the nature of war. This isn't a game which breeds friendship between factions. Players getting possessed out in the area is going to be mad if you do not show face to give a hand. Imagine being in the army and hiding in a trench that the whole warfare instead of taking some shots. Folks will get pissed at their faction mates for not showing up to siege.
I mean... you can read the replies in your queries in the positive and informative posts you mention. The disadvantages are that it's quite grindy and a few areas become zerg fests. However, if you're into receptive world pvp that
euro aion classic buy kinah shouldn't disturb you much. Other than that... you have wings and can fly (around a big-ass sun in the space, or so called Abyss, how cool is that).
