Someone always has a gear advantage or participant benefit, and it feels so good to come out on top when the odds are stacked against you.
  
  -The PvP point system (Abyss Points) is well thought out, and it compels the participant to consider risk/reward. The higher your position, the less things you get from murdering low positions, and the more points they get for killing you. You receive bonuses for being a high position though like transformations, and accessibility to better equipment. PvP has so much purpose, there's always a motive to kill the enemy.
  
  -Crafting in this game is really simple, but I have as much fun with it. The proc system gives you that little chance of endorphins every time it goes off. It's easy to understand what's valuable, and it enriches the PvP encounter by pushing you from the shit.
  
  -Community is inherently poisonous because of the nature of war. This isn't a game which breeds friendship between factions. Players getting possessed out in the area is going to be mad if you do not show face to give a hand. Imagine being in the army and hiding in a trench that the whole warfare instead of taking some shots. Folks will get pissed at their faction mates for not showing up to siege.
  
  I mean... you can read the replies in your queries in the positive and informative posts you mention. The disadvantages are that it's quite grindy and a few areas become zerg fests.
