Peyton Manning broke the Madden NFL 24 record of passing touchdowns over a season by scoring four touchdowns in the Denver Broncos' win over the Houston Texans in Week 16. Manning now has 51 passing touchdown passes on the season Madden 24 Coins, which is more than Tom Brady and the 50 touchdown passes he threw in 2007 with players from the New England Patriots.

Similar to Brady in 2007's record-breaking season, Manning's breakout year could earn him Madden NFL 24 MVP recognition. Manning has already been awarded MVP honors several times throughout his career, and is widely considered to be the favourite to win a fifth time. Manning now has 5.211 miles passing on the season, and has thrown just 10 interceptions along with his stratospheric touchdown total.

The most remarkable thing about Manning's touchdown passes of 51 is how evenly distributed they've been. Demaryius Thomas Julius Thomas, Eric Decker and Wes Welker all have at least 10 touchdown receptions. In 2007 the only player Randy Moss had double-digit touchdown catch for the Patriots and scored 23 touchdowns on the season.

The Broncos have already secured a place in the playoffs and are now striving to hold the Patriots in check for the No. 1 overall seeding in the AFC and home-field advantage through the playoffs. If luck is on his side, Manning hopes to secure the second Super Bowl title of his career.
