Blizzard announced that Diablo 4 is still getting Set Items, though you'll likely have to wait until after launch to utilize them in game.
Game Director Joe Shely explains during a recent roundtable interview that reimaging sets in a manner which is suitable for Diablo 4 properly wouldn't be possible until the beginning of next year, but the team is looking at adding them to their live streaming service.
"As we've been working on the game, we thought that we could create sets in a unique method that was different from what we've seen in Diablo 3. But, we needed some more time to integrate sets into the game in a manner that would be compatible with the rest of Diablo 4, so you will not see any sets when you first start as part of the gameplay," Shely explains. "We believe that sets are interesting, and we'd like to create them in a way that is right - so we're looking at for our live service."
"There's a staff legendary within the demo that changes [the spell] fireball into the triple fireball spell" former director of games Luis Barriga told Polygon(opens in new tab) in 2019. "The distinction could be due to the fact that you know, a activated spell in the current version of Diablo 3 gives you bonuses that are a lot more than the thousands. I'm thinking we're developing the game in the moment to be less constrained in order to
Diablo 4 Items for sale not get our players into that hugely escalating performance curve."
