While World of Warcraft 's subscriber count is down
WoTLK Gold, revenues from the game are up, Blizzard tainment CEO Mike Morhaime said. Morhaime didn't give an exact figure for revenue, however, and Actvision Blizzard does not share the information with the public.
Activision Blizzard also announced today that World of Warcraft has now sold more than 20 million copies. This figure includes sales of World of Warcraft itself and the expansion Reaper of Souls, which was the highest-rated PC game during the quarter in terms of dollars sold in both North America and Europe, Activision Blizzard said. World of Warcraft originally launched in a PC-only version, but it's now available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions will be released this month in the Ultimate Evil Edition.
The overall picture is that Activision Blizzard
cheap WoTLK Classic Gold posted better-than-expected performance in the earnings report for the period. Revenues were $658 million, compared to $608 million last year. Net income on the other hand it was just $45 million. This was less than less than the $90 million the company earned in the same quarter. Positively, Activision Blizzard reported that a record 73 percent of total revenue of the company came through digital transactions.
