Personally, I prefer to think that the names presented to us are transliterated, as in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit (see The Lord of OSRS Gold the Rings, Appendix 6) For instance in the earlier book, the old Numenorean name Kalimac was turned into Meriadoc, a name with the same feel to English-speaking ears, and its nickname "Kali" into "Merry". The characters of Gielinor have names that sound familiar to them instead of their Gielinorian counterparts.

But in any case: What are your thoughts about anachronism in Runescape both in terms of technology and names? Oh, I'm sorry! Although I'm not a fan of anachronism, I prefer an atmosphere that resembles the Dark Ages. And I also dislike the use real-world names for fantasy worlds. This is not a rant, but rather a discussion.

So I was looking for information that was not there and came across this site. It did seem to relate to me a lot, and it struck me difficult. While I'm not planning to quit Runescape, it is evident that I must be cautious. Wow. This guy says he plays on average 10 hours a day. For me, that's quite a bit. I'm not sure if he is exaggerating or not. (Can anyone really be that active for so many weeks? Excuse my English, english isn't my first language...

I'm now 19 years old, I played continuously from 15 to 18, i wasted three years of my life to this DEVIL game. I played runescape from Buy RS Gold 5-18 hours a day for 3 years and never missed a single day. 365 x 3x10 = 10'000 hours playing this vile video game, 10'000 times 6.5$ minimum wages equals 50'000$
