OSRS is a standalone game that doesn't require the regular RuneScape to operate. Even though RuneScape 3, since it's often known, is very much alive and kicking as well, Old School RuneScape is a good deal more popular and
RS Gold has a larger user base. However, while Old School RuneScape stays an enjoyable and addictive game to this day, wrap your head around its many systems and mechanics can take a while. Between worrying about your own OSRS gold, gear, skills, activities and so much more, there is really a bit of learning to do this. Bearing that in mind, we put together a couple of tips and secrets that can allow you to get started on the right foot. This short guide won't teach you everything you want to know about OSRS, but it is going to cover some very important basics.Old School RuneScape Might Be Adding A New Free-To-Play Quest
Old School RuneScape's most up-to-date poll is currently dwell and -- if all goes well -- the match may be receiving a new free-to-play quest. Below Ice Mountain is a rookie quest that brings with it a new dungeon, but it won't be added into OSRS unless the neighborhood votes in its favor. All told, the present OSRS poll is asking eight questions concerning the newest content. The most essential is the first, which asks if Below Ice Mountain should be added into the game at all. Those that follow are only hoping to pinpoint which material is most interesting to the community.
Below Ice Mountain would observe players detecting historical secrets that lie below Ice Mountain. Finishing the pursuit would give you access to Ice Mountain Dungeon -- a brand new F2P dungeon"packed with battle chances, skilling actions, and a lot of beautiful lore." Jagex said anybody who enjoyed Forthos Dungeon will like what it's doing with Ice Mountain Dungeon.
If the content passes the community poll, the pursuit and dungeon will hopefully release in April. "Willow, an energetic archaeologist (possibly Id so) is hunting for her next big discovery," reads the description Below Ice Mountain. "She believes she has found the entrance to ancient underground ruins found to the west of Ice Mountain. There's a catch however - the entry is sealed tight and she wants to reunite her old crew to help her break-in. Obviously, she must remain near the ruins so as to lay claim to the find, so it falls to you to bring her rag-tag group back together for one final caper and a closing huge pay-off."
She'll be working together with
Cheap RuneScape Gold three other characters -- Burntof, Checkal, and Marley -- despite her true goals for exploring the mountain stay a mystery. Complete details for the pursuit and new place are available on the official Old School blog. Additionally, it contains a few more proposed changes for the Bolt Pouch, especially aimed at making it more user-friendly. The nostalgic match will also arrive on Steam on February 24.
