Dragon OSRS GP scimmy is a lot cheaper than a brackish, (50k, instead of 500k) but requires end of monkey madness. A saradomin sword is far better for str, but it costs 4m-5m, so you cant manage it. For your sheild slot, (unless ur tanking, or battling drags) a dragon defender is the absolute best. Its untradable however, and u need to kill cyclopes in the upper floor of the warriors guild to get them. .

U go in, after earning tokens, go to the cyclopes, and on"all tokens" style, fight them. . When u kill them, there is an opportunity tht one of the drops is a defender of their nxt tier. . Case in point: U kill a cyclops with no weilding any defender, it might fall a bronze defender. . Even though weilding bronze, they fall iron, and so on. However, defenders are infrequent drops, so going from no defender, to dragon defender will prolly take a few hrs, plus the time it takes to earn all of the tokens...

If you are going to boss or into some place where u will probably be siphoned a lot of dmg, u require a dfs (8.5mil), however it sux im0. Other than that, you need to get Amulet of Glory, Obsidian cape (or fire cape, which requires u to kill Jad), Regen bracelet (or rune+ glasses out of rdf), dragon boots, and get an aura, (sign up for your members loyality programme, even if you have not alrdy, to start earning points, which you use for buying auras. .)
