Both games are fantastic. I say all of RuneScape gold this as someone who played a TON of RS3, was comp'd, and also did all its articles. Frankly the main reason I changed is because I felt taken advantage of. I had been getting very frustrated with all of the promised upgrades at RuneFest getting delayed and ultimately shelved. I had been getting really frustrated playing out of a period where we got four game updates a month, to two match updates a month, to one game update a month, to just ninja fixes in a month with meaningful game updates after every 3 months. It seems really bad to play a match where the devs are dishonest about what the expectations should be, and the way that gets perpetuated for many years now.

I know Jagex is also responsible for OSRS, so it seems a bit weird saying"I abandoned Jagex's RS3 for Jagex's OSRS due to Jagex." However, the OSRS dev team is able to give realistic expectations for updates, does not miss deadlines, and is plugged in to the community.

All game developers"miss" some form of"deadlines" because job plans change frequently in this business. By way of instance, The OSRS quest A Kingdom Divided was originally intended to be published this season but is now delayed to"the first half of 2021". Do not say OSRS does not miss deadlines. Yeah. A global pandemic occurred. Find me another example from when there was not a global pandemic? Not wanting to be argumentative, I just really can't remember one. Big issue is it had been hauled also. You're right that it happens frequently in the industry, but it occurs an undesirable amount in RS3.

There is a laundry list of all RS3 updates that were postponed, trashed, etc. crossing back over the last five years... that honestly I'm convinced is better outlined with an present article on this particular subreddit. They tend to not convey these things too. It's a massive point of frustration for the playerbase. It's a literal meme with this subreddit. This doesn't even factor in how updates that DO get released often times leave players thinking"was that this tested AT ALL?" (instance: ripper demon familiars, omegalul).

Again, I had been OSRS Gold For Sale a comp'd RS3 participant. I still enjoy the sport. This is not an OSRS vs RS3 stance, this is merely a"RS3 continually fucks their update schedule and it is incredibly upsetting" stance.
