NBA MT Coins have fun, and only a bunch of tryharders would play competitive against other tryharders (just what they do not wish to do). So they need to. I feel like tryhards goes to casual to attempt to control. Look how people run in park and people who go full squad on rec. They will not if manner does not have any records. They will not have any way of registering their domain in the shape of numbers that are stupid. And needless to say, people generally wouldn't be concerned about losing or winning, but about to getting a bit fun.
I understand what you're saying, however I disagree. I absolutely agree that 2K is terrible at creating at competitive match. The 2K league is simply awful to watch. But regardless of if they are good at making a competitive game, there is still value in having that clear seperation of casual and competitive. Putting shooting into the side for another, there's presently park, ante up, and pro-am if you wish to play 3v3. Let us say you maintain the very same shiiting/sliders ect for all three. Earlier in the year, pro-am gave considerably more rep than playground, so the majority of the"aggressive" players were playing to rep up faster. This made park more pleasurable for somebody like me who likes working with randoms without individuals.
Didn't matter if others were becoming more rep since I had been enjoying NBA 2K21. That got reverted and the sweats came back to park. Ante up serves a similar purpose but whenever there's double rep in park like yesterday for Fall fest, the sweats leave ante around play park and also makes the events much less pleasurable than regular park. As there's no incentive for squads to play with Pro-Am rec is all but unplayable for randoms. If 5v5 pro am given double rep and much better matchmaking, then rec can become a casual mode without needing to touch shooting ect. So regardless of whether NBA 2K21play is any different, there should be a seperation of casual and competitive with significant incentives for the competitive players.
To address the shooting, for some reason alot of 2K gamers appear to believe the only skill gap in NBA 2K21 is how long you can hold down the shoot button. I disagree, but there's SO many players who whine about folks making whites. So if the manners has whites it might please sweats and casuals. There are things like adjusting. Should 2K's primary focus be on
Buy NBA 2K MT improving their trash game? Absolutely. But they already have what they will need to make a casual and mode so I do not think that would eliminate them working on earning NBA 2K21 better.
