I studied interpreting and translation and'm currently working for Jagex as a corporate translator. I didn't get into Runescape game business on goal but I figure that is the beauty of the sector: it is possible to OSRS gold combine through so many distinct channels and find out about many different areas of the industry(most of the folks I encountered are very down to earth and easy to speak to, which makes it easier to learn if you're eager). There are certainly plenty of challenges along the way but I'd say almost all of them are good ones, the type that would encourage self-development and build your confidence, however I don't think any of the challenges is because of my sex.

I obtained a diploma in computer science and went the dull route! I simply implemented everywhere so that I just sort of dropped it, and Jagex seemed more fun than others. The principal challenge I face is I have to always prove that I have the job based on my abilities and not as a"diversity employ". Not everybody thinks my confidence a bit sinks and that, but some folks like to make jokes.

I started playing Runescape 15 decades ago after finding it among the likes of Motherload and Stick RPG on Miniclip. During a game design degree I have back to Runescape match (mainly because everyone was dissing OSRS in favour of AAA games so I needed to defend it's honor and rejoin). I started streaming OSRS alongside the amount and once I graduated I decided it's either'now or never' took the plunge to go full time. That was 4 years ago and I have not looked back since - however it absolutely has had it's fair share of barriers because of a good deal of toxicity and replicate chambers in the depths of the net where some believe girls just game"for the wrong reasons". It's been a battle but one worth the struggle.

I personally always loved to draw and play video games and I always knew I needed to do anything with artwork. I then discovered this university where I could research game artwork and realised that I make a career out of it and could combine 2 of my passions. The course I was quite general and I had concept art, environment art, char art... Both stylised and realistic. Only by trying out all of the choices I found out that I actually loved making environments. From the end of my research I'd done 2 internships. After that buy RS3 gold I got a job at an indie business here in Cambridge which unfortunately shut down in the beginning of the summer. After that I ended up here in Jagex!
