We've recently seen surveys go through using the highest pass rate in osrs background regarding both percentage of OSRS gold questions passed and Number of votes. The neighborhood is completely not destroying ideas for RuneScape and, in fact, lots of the queries in the Boss Slayer Master poll are immediately taken from community suggestions. If anything, the prerequisites for voting have to be made more stringent so players have a chance to experience what it is that makes osrs different to all other games in the market and make informed decisions about how best to ensure it remains uniquely terrific. It made sense at the start of RuneScape's life when everyone involved was a high-info, high-interest voter, but the requirements are much too low for this period of RuneScape's life.

At precisely the same way there needs to be an internal (JMod) comprehension of what Oldschool should be, there needs to also be an outside (player) comprehension but the present polling system sadly ignores this need and doesn't allow for it. It's healthy for there to be queries which don't pass poll - I personally can't comprehend the Blood Fury passed (then endured immediate complaints when there were approximately zero usage cases for this ). To me that is the sort of item that polling is meant to catch.

Keep bringing this up and hopefully they listen until we get to some sort of developed battle 2.0 bullshit situation. You would like to create a shift? Poll it. If it fails layout about it and then suck it up. Never run a survey that cannot fail,"ethics polls" hurt RuneScape more in the long run than whatever short term bullshit the jmods think needs to be dealt with. Is the community right? God no, however, the premise of OSRS was options driven from the players and if we do not have that than we do not have shit.

Polling appears to be a fantastic idea on paper but is shit in reality. Rather than"how do we create this thought awesome and enjoyable?" All they do is try to please a part of the community which just says no to anything because"slippery slope""eoc""RS3" to some minor update that invalidates the effort they have put into RuneScape. They do not care about other playersthey do not care about new players, they don't care about player numbers all they care about is themselves and what upgrades may benefit them and their particular mindset. I wish they would just eliminate polling or lessen the% requirements to buy 2007 runescape gold maneuver.
