Nomos launches two new Ahoi neomatik 38 calendar watches
Nomos has always been known for its simple and elegant style, impeccable quality and self-manufactured movements. Last year, the brand released the Ahoi Atlantik series 36 and 40 large three-hand and three-hand calendar watches. Today, Nomos launches the new Ahoi neomatik 38 calendar watch, available in two styles: sky (Sky) and sand (Sand).
As with all Nomos timepieces, the design of the new timepiece is centered on elegance, with a diameter of 38.5 mm and a thickness of 9.8/9.9 mm in a polished steel case with smooth lines and a slim profile. The sapphire crystal is treated with an anti-glare colorless coating on both sides to ensure clear and easy readability from all angles. The screw-in crown has a protective device and a red warning sleeve, and the entire watch has a water resistance of 200 meters.
Adhering to Nomos' signature minimalist and legible style, the dial comes in sky blue or khaki. Luminescent rhodium-plated hour and minute hands combine black Arabic numerals and baton hour markers with rectangular luminescent markers to indicate time information while ensuring readability in low-light conditions. The date window is located at 3 o'clock, and the background color matches the dial as a whole. There is a concave sub-dial at 6 o'clock, with an orange small second hand, which is bright and eye-catching, fresh and lively.
The new watches are equipped with the brand's self-made DUW 6101 automatic movement, which is only 3.6 mm thick, contains 27 jewels, and has a vibration frequency of 21,600 times per hour (3 Hz). It is equipped with a Swing escapement system and a blue hairspring. Calendar adjustment function and 42-hour power reserve. In addition, the DUW 6101 movement is also decorated with exquisite blue hairspring, Glashütte pattern and pearl pattern.
The new Ahoi neomatik 38 calendar watch from Nomos perfectly combines style and function, exuding charm. The Sky model comes with a blue-black fabric strap, and the Sand model comes with a dark gray fabric strap with a square double-sided clasp.
