"There's a legendary staff in the demo , which Diablo IV Gold transforms [the spell] fireball into triple fireball," ex-game director Luis Barriga told Polygon(opens in new tab) back in the year 2019. "The one difference could be that, you know it's a set that's available in the live version of Diablo 3 gives you bonuses more in the thousands. We're attempting to design this game now to be a little bit more limited to prevent becoming caught up in that growing Power Curve."

If you're not familiar to the term "set", Set Items are essentially strong pieces of equipment that can provide greater power when fully put together. They're called "set" because they are always able to provide the same bonuses, and, well, they come as part of an entire set. They were first introduced within Diablo 2, though it was 3 that they became more dominant. It is yet to be determined how they'll impact Diablo 4's meta. Diablo 4 meta should they appear, but there's absolutely no doubt that their impact on the growing fashion scene will be felt.

This Diablo 4 beta hasn't convinced me as of yet, but I'm eager to play even more (Set Items or not).

As Christmas draws towards a close and fireworks can be seen on the horizon, we've taken it upon ourselves to collecting some of this year's most significant news events into one place . After all it's what's not to enjoy with a touch of nostalgia?

A standout among the exciting events to have come out of January was Blizzard's announcement that the game will be located to take place in the "all completely new realm" is in cheap Diablo 4 Gold  development which adds yet another strings to the Diablo WoW maker's symbolic bow. Blizzard wasn't alone in announcing something new and exciting, though, as Apex Legends creator Respawn Entertainment also announced that it's developing a new triple-A shooter.
