Giving players the ability to do more than just click and charge was an important element that was important to the Diablo team, according to WilsonD2R Items. Giving the example of the berserker monster, Wilson stated that it's wise not to face these characters on.

The berserker, however, was designed to be an extremely heavy hitting weapon that can be vulnerable in case he falls. If the players checked their movements, they'd be capable of hitting easily on the berserker after they fail and their weapons are immobilized in the earth.

Wilson said that his team has taken steps to improve the story of the game without losing its "opt in" philosophy that allows players to choose to read the dialogue. He also promised that the RPG elements will be improved by eliminating the generic nature of random dungeons, and also by incorporating additional non-player interactions with characters to make the world more real.

"We intend to approach quests as an opportunity to change up gameplay," he further explained. "If the town is under attack, players may have to save the citizens or help guards, but you must do things other than having players frantically clicking on an enemy."

Wilson concluded his presentation. Wilson came back to the point he briefly touched upon earlier and that was adventures. An entirely new feature in Diablo, adventures are essentially scripted events that are placed in any level within the game cheap diablo 2 resurrected items. Whether or not the event occurs in any given playthrough will be decided by chance, as will the area within which they can be placed.
