Remakes of Live a Live is set to release exclusively on Nintendo Switch in July, while a remake of Dragon Quest III is currently in development D2R Items. There are plenty of other games which could benefit from this style and it will be fascinating to learn how Square Enix does with HD-2D the next time around. While the company has certainly invested in this style of graphics, Asano went on to declare that there isn't a any current "definitive bible," and it will remain evolving with each game.

"We haven't come up with something like that. The way that it's expressed varies in each movie, which means that the HD-2D-style will differ slightly each time. In the case of Live A Live for example, the atmosphere in the prehistoric area will be different to the sci-fi scene.

Our range of expression has been widened by the innovative concepts we've come up with. "While it may be prohibitive for some developers, HD-2D has definitely become a key selling point for a lot of gamers. Hopefully, we'll continue to see Square Enix find new ways to enhance the look and create more games to be released!

Sony Reveals Plans to End the PS4Sony has revealed that it is planning to shut down it's PlayStation 4.

In 2013, when it first came out in 2013, the PS4 has be not just one of Sony's most successful consoles , but it's also one of the top-selling video game platforms of all time. Yet, Sony is now looking to sell the PS5 as its main hardware, which means that the PS4 is likely to come to an end. As of now, thanks to new guidance from Sony that we've got an understanding of when PS4 will officially go off the market.

The latest financial presentation, it was explained that games that are available for PS4 will disappear by 2025. It doesn't mean, however, that old PS4 games will not be available for purchase. However, Sony has clearly stated that it will stop releasing new titles on the platform by this time.

In 2025, Sony has estimated that most of its revenues related to games will come out of PlayStation 5, with titles for PC and buy diablo II resurrected items mobile devices also bringing about a third of its revenue.
