I'm not certain that we at D2R Items Blizzard have a choice but to proceed this way. I'm not sure if there's a better way for Blizzard. We believe that the team's leaders have to believe in and have an idea for a game that they think is a great idea. This is a fundamental method of working.

Blizzard doesn't have a past of Mike [Morhaime] me or any other person at the top saying, "Hey, Blizzard should start making, insert type of game." That's not the way Blizzard works. How it works is a team of developers who are passionate about a particular idea or a particular genre are given possibility to experiment and develop and then deliver something we believe can be fantastic. This is how it's always been done, and that's how it's currently.

I'm trying to figure out how to ask this without unnecessarily degrading Activision. The question I'm asking is what are the economic realities of today, such, as your relationship with that parent corporation, Activision, such that it is possible to continue operating in this manner?

Is Blizzard self-sufficient enough to say"We don't think it's a great idea, therefore we're going to end itand then we're going to go back to the scratchboard ... there's a chance that you'll not be seeing another game from us for five, ten years or whatever it could be?' Do you find yourself in the position in which you're in a position to be able to do this?

There were several concerns I had after Mike was saying, "Hey, you should think about taking this job." There were a couple of questions I had for him , and a couple of questions I asked Bobby Kotick, the CEO of Activisionand all the others from Activision Blizzard. What you're discussing is something which is important to know about what it takes to be a Blizzard, both from the perspective of a developer as well as buy diablo II resurrected items, frankly an individual and a fan standpoint.
