Jagex recently RuneScape gold announced it had signed a deal with indie creator Outlier Games to publish the studio's inaugural game, the spaceship management roguelike This Means Warp. The game will release on PC through Steam Early Access on March 17.

It was created with replayability and multiplayer in mind, this Means Warp encourages players to collaborate and think strategically in intense, live-time space battles. use shrewd strategies in order to navigate their spacecraft through the hostile, procedurally created universe.

The game draws inspiration from roguelikes including FTL and party games such as Overcooked The game Means Warp sees players control crew members onboard the ship, operating various platforms, focusing weapons, performing repairs, before finally taking a route through the treacherous void of space.

To learn more about Jagex's publication of This Means Warp, we have reached out to Outlier Games' founders Paul Froggatt and Matt Rathbun, as well as Lead Product Manager for Jagex Robert Fox-Galassi for their thoughts on this new partnership.
