And, in the beginning of this week, a mere hour before the upgraded Runelite HD was due for an official release 117 was approached by Jagex asking that the work be stopped and the release be cancelled with OSRS Gold. This time, however, the reason for this is not related to the copyright issue, but due to Jagex claims they're creating their own HD upgrade.

Although that may sound reasonable at first, there's actually a massive issue. Runelite HD doesn't actually seem to violate any of Jagex's mod guidelines, and the company has announced that new guidelines that spell out the fact Runelite HD does actually break the rules will be released next week.

Mod creator 117 has said they tried to compromise with Jagex, even offering to take down their mod when Jagex was done with their work However, "they declined outright," almost as if they were threatening to end the project for a work that taken up "approximately two thousand hours over the course of two years."To assist them in achieving this goal, powerful relics have been scattered around the world for players to earn from skilling, minigames, and taking on powerful bosses. These provide powerful buffs and a variety of bizarre alterations to players who get them, serving as essential boons needed to take on the upper range of content. If players are willing to try new things with these relics, they can be combined to produce extraordinary skill sets.

I have to admit that I've not jumped into Old School RuneScape for some time. Because of Shattered League looking to mix things up with the usual levelling experience with a sweet experience-gain multiplier which makes the whole experience much more enjoyable it could be just what I needed to be back in the game.

The leagues have proved successful at garnering the interest by the Old School RuneScape community, with the former Trailblazer league in the year 2020 having around 170,000 players concurrently. It is our hope that this league will be just as popular this time around.

The Shattered League is running from today until March 3. If you've always wanted to hop back into Old School RuneScape, this could be the best time to take the plunge. If you're contemplating jumping in to Old School RuneScape, let us know below what's your reason!

Runescape outriders Outriders aren't two games players think of as a pair, so seeing the Runescape player sign up to r/Outriders be surprising. This led to an enjoyable post and interaction with fans of both games. The whole thing boils down to one previous Jagex Employee: David Osborne, otherwise popularly known within the Runescape community as Mod Osborne.

Osborne recently announced on LinkedIn that he's quit Jagex after fifteen years of editing content in narrative design, design, and lead design with Buy OSRS Gold. He took the decision as he explains, to "test his experience in the other market." Osborne is leaving Jagex and is going straight to Square Enix on the publishing side, as a Senior Designer. He'll be in charge of "some amazing games" starting with Outriders.
