It's no surprise this: World of Warcraft has had a  rough couple of years. WOW Classic TBC initially seemed to have a lot of potential the game was fascinating and entertaining, the brand new zones seemed vibrant and fresh, and wow classic tbc gold Azeroth's reincarnation offered plenty of opportunities to meet past heroes and antagonists.

But the shine that was WOW Classic TBC faded quickly, perhaps more than any other expansion. The issue has many people watching Blizzard as it gets ready to officially announce WoW's upcoming expansion on April 19th. This is why, now more than ever, Blizzard really needs to make amends for its past mistakes and work on resolving some of the biggest issues that plagued WOW Classic TBC.

Apart from the inevitable story arc of Sylvanas Windrunner's story arc, there was the impact of the pandemic. The Activision Blizzard lawsuit couldn't have taken place at a worse time too. There are other major reasons that have affected the latest expansion, and they are entirely in the control of the developers currently in charge.

Power-hungry

The Covenant system (opens in a new tab) was one of the major issues from when it was introduced at the launch of WOW Classic TBC in 2020. It offered players the option to join any of the four factions after you reached level 60 and gave you special abilities specific to your character. Conduits are another method to customise your class and you could choose a spec in your chosen Covenant. It's a good idea, except that it was almost impossible to change your mind without getting in the wrong direction.

Covenants was accompanied by legendary gear, again providing each player with multiple choices with the effects that are passive. But the money needed for their creation was initially secured behind the Torghast currency, which was relatively easy to unlock for certain classes, but an absolutely miserable experience for others.

Thereafter, Sanctum of Domination raid introduced Shards of Domination in the 9.1 patch, as an alternative to set items. The socketed domination equipment was a headache for players because it could potentially clash (opens in a new tab) with the armour slot with which you have the legendary equipment. Then , the Shard drops required to play your class were RNG-based, resulting in some players feeling less successful than their luckier fellow players.

These systems sound exciting from a theoretical standpoint, and I recognize the need to give players a real selection of the way they play their characters. But as is always the case--and not just in WoW--players are always choosing the best equipment and talents by copying the best players, no matter whether they're playing LFR raiding at mystic difficulty, or playing every now and then Mythic+ Dungeon.

In spite of the best intentions of giving us agency over how we want to play, it was no longer an option for most players, at the very least, as soon as somebody came up with the meta. Making it difficult to switch between the two methods to ensure optimal performance for different games or in the event that you make a change to the balance of your game, or if it won't be considerate of the player's needs.

Thankfully, the majority of problems with the power systems were fixed in recent patches but this change was way too late. The power systems are still present within the game, but players can now switch freely between Covenants and Conduits without penalty. You can also refund the currency to legendaries not needed, as well. Domination Shards are no longer important in 9.2.

But, the majority of the issues in WOW Classic TBC  cheap wow classic tbc gold could've been avoided long before the launch of the expansion, after players began to question the limitations on choosing Covenants within the early beta as well as PTR.
