Hello all, I've been off RuneScape for a few years now but decided to come to the game about a month recently. Since this time RuneScape Gold, I've been on the hunt and have been working on getting my range level up. In all honesty I've probably done that 'wrong' as I'm not certain what could be different since the EoC since I wasn't around for it! Haha.

My question is: I am at level 57 in range and hoping to reach at least 70, which would you suggest regarding the equipment you employ and the kind of equipment to train on? I've got about 1m in the bank (the shocking fall of the Abyssal Whip hasn't been a good thing for me!) and if I decide to sell my current range equipment, I'd probably have about 1.2m.

I'm currently training on Pyrefiends. I'm also employing the following equipment such as the archer helm/Helm Neitiznot, blue D'hide body, blue d'hide chaps blue d'hide vambraces Ava's Accumulator, dragon boots amulets of glory, mithril arrows and magic shortbow. It's worth noting that I've noted above that my ranged range is currently 57 (not that far away from my goal of 58) and my defense level is 64. Any suggestions for what gear to put on, what weapon to use, and what to do for training would be very much appreciated!

So, i went back to Runescape today, to find out that everything has been changed a lot, Mages have the same armor and Hp. As do Meleers have skills, abilities, an action bar and alot of stuff that left me with a few questions I have to get answers to.

What are the top boots for Melee? ( After much research, i found out that the best stats are found on Mage's batwing boots. Are there any better boots RuneScape 3 Gold? are there any punishments for wearing them as a melee?)
