The flying period cd has to do anything with
aion classic kinah you pressing distance to premature back and the wings are open for 0.01 seconds but you even saw them. It did happen to me several times but dont give it the match the error when its you.
Best PvP expertise in any MMO I have played to date. BnS is a close second, however it's a different fashion, and heavily p2w. The reason I believe the PvP in Aion trumps BnS (which is mechanically far superior) is due to the reason for PvP.
-Aion is a game you don't need to force yourself to RP in. The game barely feels like a match. It's more of a simulation. It is a war, and warfare is unfair. The game is not meant to be balanced, but that reality makes it feel so much more like real life. The courses have balance sure, but it is never an even playing field. Someone always comes with a gear advantage or player advantage, and it feels so great to come out on top when the odds are stacked against you.
-The PvP stage system (Abyss Points) is well thought out, and it compels the participant to consider risk/reward. The higher your rank, the less things you get from murdering low positions, and the more points they get for killing you. You receive bonuses for being a higher rank though like transformations, and access to better equipment. PvP has so much purpose, there is always a motive to kill the enemy.
The proc system gives you that little chance of endorphins every time it goes away. It's simple to understand what's beneficial, and it enhances the PvP encounter by forcing you out in the shit.
-Neighborhood is inherently poisonous because of the character of war. This isn't a game that breeds friendship between factions. Players getting possessed out in the area is going to be mad if you don't show face to lend a hand. Imagine being in the army and hiding in a trench that the entire war rather than taking a few shots. People might get pissed at their faction mates for not showing up to siege.
I mean... you can read the answers in your questions in the positive and enlightening articles you mention. The cons are that it is very grindy and a few areas become zerg fests. However, if you are into receptive world pvp that shouldn't bother you a lot.
Aion is my favourite MMORPG ever and when Gameforge attracts a classic version to EU I will probably be paying any
buy aion classic kinah eu price for this. As it stands out, I will not be playing on NA as the combat is very ping-reliant and that I take pleasure in the scout classes the most (Ranger and Assassin).
