If that's only the benefit the clans make from such services
Overview
- In Eve such as you want it and when an area or resource is held by a group, you put together a set of your own and wage war. In RuneScape 2007 gold OSRS though it appears that band or a clan claim an area the players simply complain to the mods rather than forming a group of their own to competition it. It seems that the playstyle mentality for the majority of OSRS players would be to be as possible which is why Ironmen are popular as solo. Those that aren't ironmen still don't collaborate much they like the GE advantages to accelerate play. Granted this isn't the case for every participant.
I believe they promote their farm sites that are gold through drop party/giveaways in worlds that are popular. A while ago I was curious and checked out a fall celebration that went on and they selected the winners through discord. But they made discord chats are joined by each participant in order to be entered for the next item giveaway. When the wholesale price is 50 cents per 1m we are speaking $260,000.00 If that is just one clan and we're talking about 3 or 4 other big ones we can easily see this as a 1 million dollars a year business.
If that's only the benefit the clans make from such services, and we assume that a number of the people paying for the security are killing revs themselves to earn GP and market it, we're looking at an company which brings in well over 1 million dollars annually. I wonder exactly what the legality is when we assume that these shady clans are likely not reporting this as taxable income, or the individuals who receive the payouts are most likely getting money in cryptocurrency and scapegoating all sorts of taxation.
The Revenant Caves are one of the shadiest areas OSRS in all
The Revenant Caves are one of the shadiest places in most of OSRS and Jagex is doing nothing about it. In reality I see them quite often if I want some cash from decent drops. My curiosity about the caves that were revenant grew when the Wilderness firearms came out. The firearms have dropped in price today, but I spent hours and hours in the revenant caves and got pk'd many occasions. It was enjoyable. Sure dying is annoying, but that's part of the risk that you take. Now the revenant caves have shifted. Every planet is littered with Venezuelans who clearly farm the revenants into RWT.
Suddenly I got attacked by someone who was obviously just aiming for me personally. The other people there were just minding their own business, not being stressed in any way about becoming pk'd. Nevertheless this guy was only focused on me. It was then clear to me that I was probably in some type of paid-protection planet and because I do not pay for protection, I get concentrated. I believe that the change occurred from the moment it had been known that being skulled increases your chances of obtaining a buy RS gold Wilderness weapon.
