Overview
- That said, while Clerics are good for solo players, they still shine the brightest Dark And Darker Gold when in a team since they can heal their damage dealers mid-combat and even revive teammates with a spell. But for anyone just trying to play on their own and survive against enemy squads, a Cleric is a pretty good class choice.
And finally, it should be said that both Barbarian and Rogue can work in solo play, they can even dominate in the right hands. In fact, with how often players see Rogues running around by themselves, it might seem odd not to have them on here. But, in terms of their overall playstyle and available Skills/Perks, Barbarians and Rogues just struggle more in solo vs squad play than the other classes do.
A Barbarian's slow interaction speed, slow movement speed, and overall awkward weapon hitboxes make it difficult to chase or escape enemy players. Meanwhile, the Rogue can sneak up on a player easily and even melt them before they have a chance to react depending on how many stabs they get in, but if they get hit even once, they're basically done for. They're just two classes that shine so much more in a team situation that it would be a bit silly to only use them in solo play.
The Fighter in Dark in Darker is basically the Mario-type character in Super Smash Bros Ultimate of this game if that makes sense. It's the class option players pick to learn the game before moving on to the more mechanically unique classes. Or, alternatively, they end up sticking with it and discovering the character or class' inner complexities cheapest Dark And Darker Gold. It's the Ryu from Street Fighter or the Sol Badguy of Guilty Gear, just to give a few other examples.
