• Description : The Jets exchanged Revis to Tampa Bay the following offseason in a pre-draft deal and he continued to make a strong year for the Bucs participating in all 16 games, finishing with 50 tacklesand two interceptions, and 11 passes defensed. Revis was awarded in 2013 the Sporting News Comeback Award Winner. He was selected to the Pro Bowl for a fifth time. The Buccaneers season was not as successful, however, and as a way to begin rebuilding, several efforts were made to sell Revis but none resulted in a successful trade. The team instead decided to let him go and free up almost $16 million of space on the cap.
