I'm certain that I'll join P2P one day however I wanted to know whether joining at level 90 will speed up mage's skill development. How much money have you made by fighting ankous? Bonds that grant you 14 days membership is only available to those who have at least 10 million. It is much easier to recover the 10m in member worlds than it is in F2P. But, it still takes work.
  
  As soon as you become a member I would recommend you take advantage of quests that give massive exp boosts and a good reward. You can look on the RS Wikia to find out which quests give the highest increases in exp. These are the quests I recommend so that you can get closer to higher-tier weapons.
  
  As for other monsters to take on There are many. A lot of quests provide additional monsters to fight, some with more lucrative drops. Bosses can be a fantastic way to make more money. With 90 magic, you could likely take on the king black dragon and easily take on the chaos elemental as long as you're not afraid of putting your money on certain items. Both of these monsters are fairly profitable.
  
  Yes, I have more than 10M. I am kind of confused as to how bonds work; I have looked into it for a while and have received contradicting information. I will probably just join and pay in one-month installments. I might start this morning. I'm anxious to start (But, before I do that I want to do some research).
