Overview

  • It is fascinating to see the gloves vs. chaotics debate. I'm not RS gold sure what the varying time balances are between getting gloves and chaotics: certainly the quests and levels of combat require you to possess more skills (on an effective team, you might possibly be able to get into chaos with only an excellent combat skill) and still require you to put in some time. This could indicate that the content has been unbalanced. But it's also possible that there are more than 90 weapons with even greater demands. They could be discussed on the HTML5 blog.

You can still have one of the strongest weapons available even if you're chaotic...just not the most powerful, but the runner-up. There's no way to 'go figured' or 'good fighting' unless you're rolling in PvP or PvM circles...but I'm sure a lot of chaotics people do that. Based on what I've heard it takes time to get those gloves, but not as much as a skill.

Jagex appears to be slowly implementing this interesting suggestion. You could now get your own hunting area through the use of DnD moths to hunt. Runespan theoretically asks players to band together to find the runesphere. This could be necessary with its recent update.

If I was responsible for overall strategies for skills, I would work on a plan to boost the number of skill-based updates for abilities. This means, skills that require abilities rather than time. For example, Agility would be improved to ensure that all courses offer more than the standard route. If you're skilled enough, you could speed up your running in exchange for faster xp.

This can be accomplished by focusing on the most boring skills first. I'd be happy with runespan or bonfires although they're not as skill-based, but I'd rather be rewarded for producing quality work than making mass quantities of clone jewelry that diminishes its value.

If you feel it's against the rules, then we will apologize and will delete the post. It's not harmful to anyone, and I'm not aware of any rule against "fun" bug abuse. It won't be around long and it isn't in the spirit of the rules to impose punishments on players that make use of glitches with no harm or effect on you or the game in general.

Tutorial Island is buggy, but great for nostalgia. It's an excellent idea and I thought you might enjoy it. There are so many nostalgic OSRS buy gold memories from this region. It's been a long time since you've wanted to go to Tutorial Island. Now you can!
