Overview

  • Ingredients

    1 cup of uncooked white rice (Don't use instant or minute rice)
    1 10 ounce can of condensed french onion soup (I use Campbells)
    1 10 ounce can of beef broth
    1 stick of butter sliced

    Directions
    Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a 9x9 ungreased baking dish combine the rice, condensed french onion soup and beef broth.  Next, cut the stick of butter in to slices and place evenly on top of the mixture.  Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.  Then remove the foil and bake another 30 minutes.

    Note: You can add mushrooms or moderate amounts of your favorite vegetable.  Great for family get-togethers and you can double or triple the recipe easily!
