Ingredients
1 can pink salmon, drained
2 cups bread crumbs, soft (amount six pieces of bread cubed)
2 tablespoons onion, diced
2 tablespoons melted butter
½ cup milk
1 egg, beaten
Directions
In a medium bowl, mix salmon, bread cubes, onion, and butter. Next add in milk and beaten egg and mix well. Pour mixture into a greased bread pan or small baking dish. I like to brown the top a little so I make sure to coat it with another tablespoon of melted butter.(Optional) This dish is often served with a dill sauce or cucumber sauce...but my family is picky so...no sauce here at home!
***Cook uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Note: This recipe makes great salmon patties to fry too!
