Overview

• What about old School RuneScape? I have no idea. It's common to see some of these games and RuneScape Gold how they eat up your time and you then moan about it on the internet. But RuneScape is distinct. If I'm not playing, I'm not able to formulate an opinion about the game. I can hear the songs in my head and feel a pull that brings me back to it. Finding out it was in my phone was a mistake. My family hasn't called me in some time.
  
  RuneScape was one of the pioneers in the field: a game purely focussed on engagement, which doesn't necessarily need to go hand-in-hand with enjoyment. It's not that the two are mutually exclusive but it does mean that there are ways to keep playing even when you're not having fun.
  
  RuneScape is one of the most effective at what it does. I've been watching the fan documentary, RuneScape Historical Timeline 1998 to 2020, which is about the development (it truly has impacted my entire life) and the designers were shocked to see players achieving their stats in months, rather than years.
  
  The top accounts were active for more than 10 hours per each day, throughout the day. And coming back in 2021 I can understand the reasons. If you're into the fantasy genre and you love the atmosphere, then the music lulls you in. Everything is so basic that your brain is able to fill in the blanks. I think this is the reason we became so enthralled as children It's the ideal place to create your own fun.
  
  However, as an adult it's more like the equivalent of a second job. In a good way I believe. But I'll also be watching TV on the couch in front of the TV and using the same laptop that I've used to work eight hours at my current job, slaving away at my magic level because I've decided that my persona could be a wizard Buy OSRS Gold. The next day maybe I'd like to complete the dream of my youth of having an entire set of black armor, so now I'm a knight, guess.
