Overview

• On February 28, the Slayer skill will get its first major update after The Nodon Front released last July. This update is in the form of the new Slayer monsters, which aim to spice up the Slayer skill, which is the primary source of RS Gold revenue for many RuneScape players. We already knew that this update would add three new Abyssal Slayer creatures to RuneScape however, the Jagex's developer Jagex is now providing us an additional set of details regarding the main aspects of their drop tables.
  
  The largest offer comes from the Abyssal Lords, which require an aforementioned 115 Slayer to be killed. They drop a new tier 92 melee weapon called the Abyssal Scourge. It is an upgrade to the iconic Abyssal Whip that was first included in the old MMORPG around 17 years ago. Effective attacks against the Scourge triggers the Abyssal Parasite effect, extending the duration of all melee bleed abilities.
  
  It's not only the Lords with interesting and exclusive drops as well. It's not just the Lords that have unique drops. Abyssal Beasts (105 Slayer) will drop the Jaws of the Abyss Helmet an 85-tier melee helmet with power armor. Similar to the similar Abyssal Slayer creature's drops this enables the many bleeding abilities available in RuneScape.
  
  The weaker Abyssal Savage creatures that need 95 Slayer to kill do not have any unique drops. However, they will drop Abyssal Armor Spikes, which can be used to upgrade existing Armor spikes or cut-off Armor Spikes. This drop can be obtained by battling all three of the new Slayer monsters.
